I know you put them so they're touching but nothing happens and it's already been two days since I started.

It takes much longer than just 2 days for decent hybrids to start growing. Random flowers usually pop up every couple of days, but you may be waiting a couple of weeks before your hybrids start to show up.

Best bet is to plant LOTS AND LOTS of flowers.

I had hundreds of flowers all over my town set up to breed, and it still took nearly a month before I saw any "new" colors show up. and even longer before they started showing up often.

Being a Breeder requires alot of patience and alot of care.

Also remember that diaginal is touching also.

some examples. X = empty space, F = Flower

X F X
F X F
X F X

or

X F F

or

X F X
X F X

Good Luck, its fun breeding flowers, but it does requre alot of time and patience as well as making sure visitors dont destroy your flower beds by running through them. heh heh
